Apply for an NPQ

Applications are now open for places on our NPQ programmes starting in Autumn 2024.

The application process.

If you are interested in applying to complete an NPQ, please complete the Redhill Hub expression of interest form (link below). This will mean we have your details, and will be able to share with you the relevant Lead Provider application form, as soon as they are available. By completing our EOI now, your chances of securing a funded place on our NPQ programmes will be maximised. 

You will also be required to register with the DfE for your application to be considered ‘complete’.  By filling in the EOI you will be guaranteed support from Redhill in completing this process. We anticipate confirmation of places by July 2024. 

Please note, we will only be running an Autumn Cohort for the academic year 24-25 (we normally also run a Spring cohort).

Funding

The following ‘priority’ NPQs will remain fully funded for all teachers and leaders from publicly funded schools and 16 to 19 educational organisations, regardless of pupil premium funding criteria for the Autumn 2024 NPQ intake:

• NPQ Leading Primary Maths (NPQLPM)
• NPQ SENCO (NPQ SENCO)
• NPQ Headship (NPQH)

 

For all other NPQ programmes, scholarship funding to cover the full course cost will be available only to teachers and leaders from: 

• The 50% of schools nationally with the highest proportion of students who attract pupil premium funding 
• 16 to 19 educational settings identified as having high disadvantage 
• For the early years leadership NPQ, highly disadvantaged early years settings will also be eligible.  All childminders will remain in scope for scholarship funding for NPQEYL.

(Schools that are not in this 50% group will still be able to access non ‘priority’ NPQs, but these will be chargeable).
