The latest edition of the Universal RISE newsletter - March 2026

This edition highlights a wide range of free professional learning opportunities, events, and practical resources for schools across the East Midlands, including support for literacy (EYFS–KS4), SEND and inclusion, early years development, and attendance and behaviour.

It also includes details of upcoming conferences, CPD sessions, and access to new online resource banks designed to support school improvement and classroom practice.

The date for the annual East Midlands East Maths Hub Conference has been announced, with further details on workshops and guest speakers to come.

 

East Midlands KS2 SATs Support Sessions - Free Regional Events

Booking is now open for the free, face-to-face KS2 SATs Support Sessions taking place across the East Midlands this March as part of the RISE Universal offer.

 

These sessions are designed to support and strengthen the Year 6 community in the final stages of SATs preparation, offering expert-led guidance, practical insights (including SEND and assessment considerations), shared resources and valuable peer discussion. Read the full flyer here.

 

Dates and venues:
Monday 16 March – Lincoln City (venue TBC)
Tuesday 17 March – Eastwood Hall (Notts/Derbyshire border)
Thursday 19 March – Staverton Park (Leics/Northants border)

 

Time: 1:30–4:30pm
