How to register

Registration opened on Monday 15th June.

The Department for Education (DfE) are staggering registration emails from this date to ensure the system is not overwhelmed.

Please wait until you receive your email from the DfE before registering participants.

Important Update

The DfE has introduced a new system for registering ECTs and mentors. Schools will now use their DfE Sign-in to access the new ‘Register ECTs’ portal, which replaces the previous ‘Manage Training’ portal.

If you already have access to DfE Sign-in, you can log in as usual and register new participants. Click here to log in

If you do not currently have access to DfE Sign-in, you will need to create an account.

All existing participant records have been successfully transferred to the new portal. The DfE has also produced a range of guidance videos to support schools through the registration process. These can be accessed here: GOV.UK - Register early career teachers service: supporting videos
