Scholarship Funding for Autumn 25
When you register for an NPQ, the DfE will tell you if you are eligible for funding as part of the application process. You can access this list before making an application here.
-
Funded places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, applications may close if all funded places are allocated.
-
NPQ Headship and NPQ SENCO are fully funded for teachers and leaders working in State-funded schools (including maintained nurseries) or 16–19 education institutions.
-
For all other NPQs, scholarship funding is available to teachers and leaders working in the top 50% of schools with the highest proportion of pupils eligible for pupil premium, or 16-19 schools identified as having high levels of disadvantage. You can check the lists here.
-
Teachers and leaders in schools on the RISE targeted intervention list will be eligible for a fully funded place on any NPQ. There are limited funded places available, so even if your school meets the criteria, a funded place cannot be guaranteed.
